#Examples

Each example is a diagram of a typical installation or an integration pattern. Every example page shows the diagram, which can be operated, with HTML and JSON tabs to inspect or copy the code and a link to open it in the designer. The scenario files are also published as JSON in the scenarios/ directory of the site.

#Installations

Control several outputsOne push-button and one four-output actuator; a single telegram switches several outputs. Status feedbackTwo toggle keys on the same output, with and without status feedback. Shutter controlLong press moves the shutter, short press stops it or steps the slats; an IP supervisor shows the position. Venetian blindLong press moves the blind after the slats have turned; short press turns the slats; slat angle setpoint and feedback. Miscalibrated shutterThe actuator estimates the shutter position from its configured travel time; compare it with the actual position. Flags W and TIgnored writes and blocked transmissions on a six-output actuator. Full topologyTwo areas coupled by KNXnet/IP routers, with line couplers, a line extension, and a supervisor. DALI gatewayA KNX/DALI gateway translates telegrams into commands for two DALI groups and reports ballast faults. Weather protectionA weather station raises the shutter on wind; a logic module applies sun protection in automatic mode. Energy meteringA switching actuator with metering reports power and energy per output, and sheds a load above a power limit. Heat pump behind a gatewayA heat pump and a hot-water tank controlled by their own system: a gateway links them to KNX, and an independent meter measures them. Time scheduleA simulated clock drives a clock master, a weekly time switch, and a night time window in a logic module. USB interface toolGroup writes and reads from a commissioning computer connected through a USB interface.
